​Objective of role:
As Assistant Ecommerce Manager, you will have the responsibility for driving the commercial results, growth strategy and all technical aspects for AUGUST BERG online globally (own-and-operated Ecommerce sites as well as Marketplaces). You are responsible and will help drive all aspects of the business system. Marketing, sales, operations, campaign planning, customer service, and continuous innovation are, therefore, all elements you need to take care of daily
 
Key Responsibilities:
The Assistant Ecommerce Manager has the responsibility for driving the commercial results, growth strategy and all technical aspects for AUGUST BERG online globally (own-and-operated Ecommerce sites as well as Marketplaces), including but not limited to:

• Ownership and management of the AUGUST BERG brand identity online
• Technical responsible for all AUGUST BERG own-and-operated Ecommerce sites as well as Marketplaces
• ​Fully responsible for development eCommerce (marketplaces, owned sites): UX, features, payment modules, localization, partner integrations
• While managing the confirmed ROI/ROAS, configuring AUGUST BERG’s multi-channel growth tactic and campaign strategy based on local consumer behavior: SEO, SEM, social paid, eCRM, affiliate marketing, referral marketing, push notifications, traditional, mobile native and web, programmatic display etc
• Identifying and implementing new and innovative ways to optimize ROI/ROAS, including drive & optimizing traffic to AUGUST BERG websites and marketplaces as well as developing and improving traffic from the channels 
• Tracks and monitors performance with creative approaches to optimizing ROI and user acquisition costs
• Actively troubleshoots problems (conversion, traffic, awareness) and develops strategies to resolve roadblocks
• Work in synergy with the rest of the AUGUST BERG team to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve our online brand reputation and presence
• Actively involved with social listening to drive the eCommerce strategy
• Account management towards existing platforms – listing, managing sell-out via campaigns, content optimization, third party engagements
• Business development for new platforms – proactively seeking expansion to develop national/regional/global coverage

​Further Responsibilities:

• Manage logistics – order processing
• Overall responsible for the customer service via all channels (LiveChat, email, social platforms)  

Key Attributes:

• A proven track record of driving commercial success through disciplined execution within Ecommerce of consumer brands (preferably also from startup to maturity)
• Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in eCommerce or digital marketing gained from a consumer brand, eCommerce provider or marketing agency
• In-depth Ecommerce experience from multiple markets across SEA, Japan, US and UK (both own Ecommerce sites and marketplaces)
• A firm grasp on direct-to-consumer fundamental KPIs and how to improve them with growth measures over time 
• Working knowledge of eCommerce business model and eCommerce platforms (Shopify/ Magenta)
• Good understanding of UI, UX and web development. Do not need to be a technician, but has to have a in-depth understanding and appreciate solving the critical issues in collaboration with agency partner and retailers.
• Metrics/ROI driven and knows how to generate leads & track to close the loop
• Understanding of Consumer/Shopper sentiments, using analytical skills and insights
• Passionate about and sensitive to current eCommerce trends
• Demonstrates strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of work prioritization
• Sensitive to numbers, with an analytical mind and strong business acumen
